Message from the Coordinating Vice-Rector

PROF. DR. ARDA AYDIN — VICE-RECTOR AND COP31 INSTITUTIONAL COORDINATOR

ÇOMÜ’s COP31 work is designed as an institution-wide process rather than a single event. Our aim is to connect academic expertise, administrative capacity, student participation and external partnerships through a clear, accountable and measurable framework.

The ÇOMÜ Green Transition Living Lab Online Catalogue is central to this framework. It provides a structured record of projects and good practices that have reached implementation or generated evidence. By linking each entry to COP31 thematic areas, Sustainable Development Goals, beneficiaries, outputs, impacts and — where applicable — Technology Readiness Levels, the catalogue turns institutional knowledge into an accessible resource for cooperation and replication.

Our main panel and side events will create a forum in which researchers, decision-makers, practitioners and young people can examine how university-led solutions move from idea to application. The Road to COP31 news stream will document this progress transparently, while the post-COP section will follow the partnerships and actions that emerge from Antalya.

We welcome contributions from every academic and administrative unit of our University and invite partners to engage with the evidence, expertise and collaboration opportunities presented here.
